C2-2855 Universal Scaler Plus is first in a new generation of high-performance scalers that provides best-in-class video scaling and format conversion along with revolutionary, intuitive user interface tools. This new design has more input/output flexibility than any other previous tvONE scaler, and it can be set up in less than 1/3 the time of the previous generation. The unit can be managed from the front panel with its new, crystal clear OLED display and color-modulated, backlit buttons or by IP via computer-based control panel. An RS232 serial interface is also provided for use with 3rd party control systems.

Living up to its designation as a “Universal Scaler” the C2-2855 supports SD/HD/3G-SDI, HDMI, DVI, Composite Video, YC, YUV, YPbPr or RGB, on both inputs and outputs. In addition to extremely high quality scaling and conversion, the C2-2855 also provides powerful Picture-in-picture, keying and logo insertion featuress . It stores up to 5 still images and 5 logos for layering in the output video. Twelve user-defined presets are readily available for instant, on-the-fly adjustment for diverse customized applications.

Audio Advanced audio architecture provides integrated 4x1 audio switching. The four impedance-independent unbalanced inputs follow the video selection. A rear panel terminal block and a 3.5mm jack-socket provides versatile access. Embedded Audio Support allows any audio input to be embedded on the HDMI, DVI, and SDI outputs. The C2-2855 can also de-embed audio input from HDMI or SDI signals for routing to analog audio outputs.
